Visitors with a passport from one of the following countries are welcomed to apply for a Tourist Card online. Please keep in mind that your passport must be valid and CAN NOT expire in the next 180 days. Countries are listed in alphabetical order.

FAQ - Eligible Countries
1. How come my country is not on the list of Eligible Countries?
"Eligible Countries" are countries that have a treaty with Mexico to be able to visit one another without having to apply for a visa prior to your visit. This DOES NOT mean that you CAN NOT visit Mexico, is just that in order for you to enter Mexico you MUST obtain a visa issued by a Mexican Embassy or Consulate prior to your visit.
2. Can I have a passport of an Eligible Country and live in another country?
YES. But in order to obtain a Tourist Card online you MUST apply with your passport from the Eligible Country.
3. My passport IS NOT from an Eligible Country but I am a legal resident of an Eligible Country, can I apply for the Tourist Card online?
UNFORTUNATELY NO. Your passport MUST be from one of the Eligible Countries in order to apply.
4. My passport is from one of the Eligible Countries but expires in less than 180 days, can I apply?
NO, your passport must not expire on the next 180 days because the Tourist Card is for 180 days and for the maximum stay in Mexico of 180 days, therefore your passport CAN NOT expire before your Tourist Card does.
